-SAI Project for Unaccompanied Foreign Minors
The WCCC Italia since 2024 participates in the Italian national network “SAI” (Reception and Integration System)
as a partner in the SAI project for Unaccompanied Foreign Minors of the Municipality of Lavello (PZ), led by ARCI Basilicata, and contributes to the realisation of social and cultural integration activities for the 25 guests of the project together with the non-profit organisations “La mimosa” and “Vida”.
-Meeting PAX MATER
In 2019, the WCCC Italia supported the realisation of the international multi-religious meeting PAX MATER in Matera, creating an opportunity for dialogue between European leaders, Jews and Muslims.
-Residence for Peace
The WCCC Italia in 2015, promoted with Sharon Stone the fundraising to realise the Residence for Peace; the project was donated by Architect Mario Cucinella; the wooden building is realised on public land with private resources of the businessmen Pasquale Natuzzi and Nicola Benedetto. The Residence for Peace is a unique model of an eco-sustainable house, designed to host three refugee families and to be replicated in other contexts. It was inaugurated in 2022 in the municipality of Scanzano Jonico (MT) and in the same year it started to receive the first refugee families.

In 2011, the WCCC Italia participated in the realisation and creation of the international news agency ‘Not in the news net’ (Ntnn), which gives a voice to ‘those who don’t have one’ and to ‘the news that doesn’t make news’.

-City of Peace for Children Fountation
In 2010, the City of Peace for Children Foundation was established, with the support of the Basilicata Region and the municipalities of Scanzano Jonico (MT) and Sant’Arcangelo (PZ), The WCCC Italia, as one of the founders, actively supports the Foundation in all its initiatives and projects.
